We celebrate Ascension Day, forty days after the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus no longer walks on dusty paths. He no longer sits on a donkey. What is He doing now that He has ascended? Some people believe He is waiting for all power—not so!

Jesus already has ALL power and He sits on the throne now. His last words to His people was “I will send you some power.” As assuredly as He died on the cross, He is now on the throne.
