There is something about being in the presence of God. When we look at the vastness and powerfulness of God in contrast with man’s weaknesses and frailties, we wonder why He would even allow us to be in His presence. Whether at home in our pajamas or at North Cities worshipping together in-person, we need to develop an appreciation for God’s desire to have a true relationship with us. He made us in His own image — that is powerful!
Each worship-service experience can be renewing and life-changing because it reveals the holiness and mercifulness of God. Therefore, our worship-service experience should not become routine or habitual. Tes Stewart invites us to enter into the Lord’s presence as we are, but not to remain that way when we leave.
