As you have most likely heard, we are remodeling the remainder of our original building to create a beautiful, state-of-the-art Worship Space, and returning this space to it’s original design as a Fellowship Space. This Project maximizes the use of our facilities, putting every space on mission supporting our Connection to God, to Others, and Purpose.
Nearly all the demolition work is now complete, and they have begun to frame the new walls, entries, and sound booth. We are a little ahead of schedule, and very pleased with how things are coming together.
Your generous contributions for this phase of the Expansion Project have currently provided 17% of the anticipated budget.
How to Be Involved
Pray
Pray that the Lord would give us all wisdom, favor, and grace to be good stewards of the resources He entrusts to us and that we would continue to fulfill His purpose of making disciples and expanding His Kingdom.
Volunteer
To accommodate growth, we need more people involved in serving. There are opportunities to serve in every capacity: ushers, hosts, parking lot attendants, security services, worship ministries, children’s ministries, and more. If you are not currently volunteering somewhere, start the process of getting involved. There is room for everyone to serve in some way as we Build North Cities.
Give
If you are not currently involved in giving to the Expansion Project, we invite you to join in the effort. There are several ways that you can give:
- In our regular offerings received in each worship service. Simply mark the offering envelope as Expansion Project.
- Online at northcities.org/give – Select the “Expansion Project” category.
- You can mail a donation to the Church Office, or place it in the drop-box in the Welcome Area.
As we pray, serve, and give – we’re confident that our efforts will be blessed, and that we will continue to Build North Cities.
