The Manifestation of God’s Spirit
The birth, ministry, crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus points to the moment of Pentecost. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit is a gift displaying God’s redemptive power manifesting to bring man back into fellowship with Him. We are recipients of His gift — His Spirit, and we need God’s Spirit. God could not put His Spirit in man until He had paid the redemptive price.
The Day of Pentecost was a day of hope, promise, power, and transformation. Simon Peter was given the keys to the Kingdom to unlocked the door for the Jewish people and ultimately everyone as the power of the Holy Spirit poured on to the people.
Bishop Hargrove illustrates why we need God’s Spirit, what God does, His will for our lives, and how His Spirit manifests.
