Big Idea

The churches in Smyrna and Sardis risked different kinds of death. In His message to Smyrna, Jesus provided the ultimate assurance to those who suffer for the Gospel. He calls the church in Sardis to wake up and remember what they had received. Jesus hold the power of life, even in places where death has started to occur, and He offers the crown of life to the faithful.
