Bethel held a very special place in Jacob’s heart. It was there he saw the angels ascending and descending thirty years prior. He now has a new name and a new future. In a way for Israel, it is as if he has returned home. That is where he found a relationship with the Lord.
We search for protection and security, and we find them in Christ Jesus. Home is Him living in us. Bishop Hargrove tells us about this home as well as of another home — one we will never want to leave and why there is no place like it.
